I recently had a pleasant stay at Villa Thermae in Thonon-les-Bains. The location was great, with a small park and mineral spring/spa facilities nearby, as well as being just a 5-minute walk to the town's shopping street. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a nice bed and even a small kitchenette equipped with a fridge and microwave. It was convenient to be able to cook my own meals if I wanted to. One highlight was the internal connection between Villa Thermae and the adjacent mineral spring spa, allowing me to easily access the spa in my swimsuit during the day. The ladies at the spa reception were also very helpful, despite the language barrier.

Free Wi-Fi made it easy to check my social media accounts while soaking in the hot spring bath. The fitness center was a great place to burn off the calories from the delicious meals I prepared in the fully-equipped kitchen.

Couldn't find the lift to the room, but hey, I got a good workout climbing those stairs.

We had a wonderful stay at this place. The room we got was spacious and comfortable, with a nice balcony where we could enjoy the views. The bed was cozy and provided a great night's sleep. The location of this venue is perfect, right in front of a beautiful park and just a short walk away from the town center.

The location of the hotel in front of a beautiful park was simply amazing. It was also very convenient being close to the town centre. The hotel facilities, including the gym and spa were top-notch. I also appreciated the availability of parking and the fact that the continental breakfast was delivered right to my room. Last but not least, the staff were very helpful during my stay.

Not one thing.

The stay over New Year was awesome. The peaceful location of the hotel in the middle of the park was the perfect spot to escape the usual New Year’s chaos. The hotel was equipped with everything we needed, including a spacious and comfortable room with a small balcony to enjoy the beautiful scenery. Plus, the free passes to the Therman bath that came with our stay was a bonus.

The only downside we noticed was that the spa usage was at an extra cost, which we didn't expect. Also, the hotel pool area was not kid-friendly. We were not allowed to take our daughter who is just 5 years old to the pool, which was a disappointment. It would have been helpful if the hotel had made that clear before we made our booking. it was a lovely stay and the hotel was a great value for the price.
